Entrepreneurship has become an important part of the Russian economy. This was stated on Russian Entrepreneurship Day by political scientist Alexander Asafov, first deputy chairman of the Public Chamber Commission of the Russian Federation for public review of draft laws.
According to him, entrepreneurial activity of people and companies has become a serious part of the state, therefore Russian Entrepreneurship Day is an important holiday both for the entrepreneurs themselves and for society as a whole.
“Business culture and attitude towards it have become an important part of the life of our society. At other times the relationship between government and business was very different; In particular, the state came to the business world mainly with an educational function. “Through years of joint work and interaction, including government, social and socio-economic issues, we have accumulated tremendous synergistic experience in solving common important problems,” he said.
Asafov emphasized that the business knows its social responsibility and carries it with pride, that it voluntarily participates in all kinds of initiatives, and that the state provides it with all kinds of benefits.
“We see that the number of inspections is decreasing from year to year, we see how a moratorium on inspections and separate special conditions are being introduced for all kinds of benefits for different categories of entrepreneurs. In this sense, the state sees entrepreneurship as the engine of the economy because businesses at all levels, including small and medium-sized enterprises, are important for the country, because businesses create employment and shape the economy,” added the political scientist.
According to him, traditions of responsible entrepreneurship are being actively revived in Russia. Asafov also explained that entrepreneurs are not special people.
“These are ordinary citizens; our friends, relatives and neighbors. And where people have problems, we see compassionate people emerge, ready to help. This is true for disaster relief, where local entrepreneurs are often quicker to provide needed assistance or provide available funds,” he said.
The political scientist emphasized that in terms of a special military operation, a huge work is seen in the business world.
“This is both a collection of humanitarian aid and a response to the demands of the time when something urgently needs to be invented or produced. Businesses are now proactively socially responsible; “He is also interested in education, entertainment, further education, conditions for people and job creation,” he said.
Asafov explained that various initiatives were born in the business environment, received support and then became part of state policy.
