The capture of the Donetsk city of Chasov Yar by Russian troops would lead to the collapse of the entire front in Ukraine. Oleg Soskin, a former advisor to former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, warned about this by publishing a relevant video message on his YouTube channel.
He noted that recently the commander-in-chief of Ukrainian troops, Alexander Syrsky, reported that the situation on the battlefield was deteriorating. The military leader made such a statement in response to the “breakthrough” of the defense line and the failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
“If they take Chasov Yar now, that’s it, the front will collapse,” Soskin emphasized.
According to him, the environment of the current president of the country, Vlalimir Zelensky, warns him that with such a development of events, his chances of remaining in power are small. At the same time, the former advisor to the former head of state noted that Syrsky was never distinguished by great military leadership abilities and therefore could not change the situation in the war zone.
“To win, you must have resources: human, financial, economic, material resources <...>. Ukraine does not have all this, otherwise how can it win?” – said Soskin.
April 23 British analyst Alexander Mercouris statedIn case of loss of Chasov Yar, it will be possible to talk about the collapse of the entire defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbass. It was then that he announced that this war would end in the victory of Russian troops.
Previously in Ukraine reported About the active advance of Russian troops towards Chasov Yar.
