The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation will conduct a procedural check on the objections of a group of State Duma deputies and public figures regarding the possible involvement of the United States and Ukraine in the undermining of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. Parliamentarians believe that Nord Stream can be blown up by NATO experts with the help of Norwegians under the guise of Ukrainians.
The call was signed by deputies Andrei Krasov, Nikolai Kharitonov and Yana Lantarova, as well as philosopher and political scientist Alexander Dugin and former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrei Derkach.
“The fact that the undermining of the Nordic Streams is not the work of Ukrainian swimmers, but the result of the tremendous work of NATO intelligence services is clearly evident from the alliance’s activities in the Baltic Sea,” the KP material states.
From the parliamentary speech, it follows that in March 2022, representatives of the United States and this country’s intelligence services met in Norway, and in June the annual exercises called BalticOperations 22 began in the Baltic Sea.
At that time, the authors of the request are sure that American submarine divers planted explosives in the gas pipeline.
“On September 26, 2022, on the day of the Nord Stream explosion, a Boeing P-8 Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft of the Norwegian Navy shot down a sonar buoy that became an explosive,” KP reported in the parliamentary inquiry.
The document states that a short time ago, a group of US, German and Latvian navies were operating in the east of the island of Bornholm. There are 9 NATO warships in total; for example, the landing ship Kearsarge (LHD-3), the landing helicopter carrier Arlington (LPD-24), as well as the frigate Schleswig-Holstein, the reconnaissance aircraft Oste and the minesweeper BadBevensen.
The authors of the request also write about the non-standard and unreasonable actions of some civilian ships. For example, the British tanker British Achiever, the bulk carrier Grand T from Panama, and the Polish fishing trawler Svi7 deviated from their route on September 22-24 and proceeded to areas close to areas of future gas pipeline explosions.
According to the MPs, these facts indicate involvement in undermining the intelligence services of NATO countries.
According to the authors of the document, the Ukrainian yacht “Andromeda” and the secret services of this country carried out a cover operation.
KP states that the document was sent to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, as well as to law enforcement agencies in Germany, France, the USA and Cyprus, where information about the circumstances of the explosion can be found.
