Dutchman Mark Rutte’s final run for NATO secretary-general gets complicated

El objetivo de los países de la Alianza Atlántica sigue siendo consensuar “lo antes posible” el nombre del nuevo secretario general de la OTAN, que sustituirá desde este otoño al noruego Jens Stoltenberg, pero el camino del gran favorito al puesto, el primer ministro holandés Mark Rutte (57 años), sigue sin despejarse. Tres países, con Hungría a la cabeza, se resisten a dar su visto bueno y complican un acuerdo que la OTAN querría dejar atado en cuestión de semanas, antes de la cumbre de jefes de Estado y de Gobierno aliados que se celebrará del 9 al 11 de julio en Washington.
