Moscow region resident received three stab wounds to the heart and survived 12:53

Doctors at Lyubertsy hospital saved a man who was hospitalized with three stab wounds to the heart. In this respect reports Telegram channel of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region “In legible handwriting”.

According to the doctors, the 47-year-old patient’s condition is extremely serious and he lost 2.5 liters of blood.

“During the examination, it was found that the man had damage to the intercostal artery and the right ventricle of the heart, as well as bleeding in the pleural cavity of the lung,” the ministry’s press service said.

Doctors decided on emergency surgery. During the intervention, surgeons opened the chest, stitched the wound, placed a drain, and then sutured the main wounds. The patient was transferred to intensive care, where doctors fought for his life for another five days.

The victim has now been discharged home and requires follow-up by a cardiologist at his place of residence.

Earlier, at Ramenskaya Regional Hospital, doctors treated a young man with a stab wound in the heart area.
