The presenter’s emotional interview with her mother: “How lucky I am to grow up next to a woman like you.”

A television presenter from Castile-La Mancha took part in an emotional moment that went viral. ‘Castilla-La Mancha Despierta’ host Laura Izquierdo interviewed a team of doctors from La Fe Hospital in Valencia who reached a historic milestone: remove a tumor to a still developing baby.

One of those interviewed was Dr., head of the hospital’s Neonatology department. It was Isabel Izquierdo and, interestingly enough, she was also the mother of the morning show host on public television. Actually, Izquierdo’s emotional words to his mother on live broadcast touched many viewers and social media users.

“I hope you will excuse me, understand, but Dr. Izquierdo is my mother,” the presenter said, addressing the doctor directly: “Mom, how lucky I am to grow up with a woman like you.”

To end the connection, The presenter wished the doctor a good day, and the doctor responded with a few loving words: She blows him a kiss from the other side of the screen: “Thank you so much sweetie”.
