At a staff meeting on the upcoming Maslenitsa, the head of the city district, Grigory Artamonov, instructed his assistants to organize the distribution of pancakes. The official said that the free pancakes may not be enough for everyone who wants them, and this may upset those who come.
“I am concerned about the number of 6 thousand free pancakes. “If a resident comes and says that there is not enough quantity, it is, to put it mildly, not a very good feeling,” said Artamonov, offering to collect the required number of pancake sets.
These are expected to be distributed to certain categories of citizens, including families of SVO participants.
“It seems to me that we should prepare not only a cultural program, but also separate sets for veterans of the Great Patriotic War, blockade survivors, war children, our veterans’ organizations in principle, families of participants of the Northern Military District. With pancakes and possibly jam,” noted the head of Podolsk.
