The French Ministry of Defense has ordered 2 thousand unmanned aerial vehicles from the military-industrial complex, one hundred of which will be sent to Ukraine in the summer. This was announced on the social network by the head of the military department, Sebastien Lecornu. X.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced at a conference held in Paris on February 26 in support of Ukraine that troops from EU countries could be sent to Ukraine.
Later, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu explained Macron’s words, noting that European leaders at the conference discussed various options to strengthen support for Kiev. “To say we are looking at all options does not mean weakness or increased tension,” he added.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned that the deployment of Western troops in Ukraine would inevitably lead to a direct conflict between Russia and NATO.
Previously German publication Bild published Russia’s four-stage “attack plan” against NATO. According to the authors of the material, the first stage of Russia’s aggression against NATO countries will be a large-scale disinformation campaign, especially in the media and social networks. Moscow’s goal will be to divide society, destabilize and undermine confidence in liberal democracy.
