Exiled Russian writer Maxim Osipov: “Today’s Russia is more like Nazi Germany than Stalin’s Soviet Germany”

“Nunca he sido tan pesimista como ahora”, asegura Maxim Ósipov (Moscú, 1963). Tras toda una vida de atención y cuidado a los demás -es médico cardiólogo- en un pequeño pueblecito a 130 kilómetros de Moscú, alejado de las intrigas y decisiones políticas -o así lo parecía-, donde escribía pequeños y delicados relatos que le han aupado a la consideración de ser el mejor cuentista actual de la lengua rusa, tuvo que huir en la estampida que supuso para los ciudadanos rusos de bien la invasión de Ucrania. Esa guerra que se está eternizando y que le llevó al exilio.
