Ukrainian prisoner told how much it would cost to escape to Poland 08:42

Captured Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) soldier Vadim Sultanov said that the illegal passage to Poland cost at least 15 thousand dollars. His words guide the way TASS.

According to the prisoner of war, he ignored the first two and joined the army only after receiving the third call. He added that the person in charge of military service received increasingly larger fines after ignoring each summons.

“Going to Poland wasn’t realistic anyway [сбежать]15 thousand dollars is an unattainable amount for me. To reach Poland, you need connections,” Sultanov shared.

He said he was captured by Russian intelligence officers after his group was conducting another mission to deliver equipment and found themselves in fog.
