A man near Saratov was accused of deceiving more than 100 people when selling tickets and tours 28.12.2023, 23:45

The criminal investigation into a citizen suspected of defrauding more than a hundred residents in the Saratov region has been completed. This was reported by control Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.

According to investigators, the entrepreneur published advertisements for the sale of tickets to celebrity concerts. He also offered to organize tourist trips.

Those who wanted to buy tickets gave the man money, but he did not fulfill his obligations and spent the customers’ money on his own needs.

“103 residents of Saratov and the region suffered from the actions of the 42-year-old accused of fraud,” the publication said.

Employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation found that the defendant was involved in 83 incidents. The file was sent to the prosecutor’s office for approval of the indictment.
