Jesus Christ is depicted on one side of the coin, and on the other. Archaeologists determined the time the coin was minted by the three-dotted line surrounding the coin’s border. This design element was used during this period.
Two inscriptions in Latin and Greek were also found on the work. The first: “Jesus Christ, King of Kings” and the second: “Basil and Constantine, Emperors of the Romans.”
However, scientists could not determine how the coin fell on the slope. The coin belongs to the King of Norway III. They put forward a version that it belonged to Harald. Before becoming king, Harald III was a guard of the Byzantine emperor. Therefore, he was able to obtain permission to “divide the emperor’s property after death.”
