He started his journalism career at the newspapers El Norte de Castilla, Radio Juventud and Cadena COPE. He served as News Director of Radio Nacional de España. He is a founding academic of the Spanish Academy of Television Sciences and Arts, a member of the Association of Communications Directors and a founding member of the Association of European Journalists. Since 2015 he has been collaborating with a weekly column in El Norte de Castilla and is a political analyst and member of various media outlets.
