Russia’s honorable savior Sergei Shchetinin shared tips with tourists on how to protect themselves from the storm that hit the south of the country. He mentioned this in an interview RT.
The expert noted that, first of all, Russian holidaymakers on the Black Sea coast should stay in hotels, preferably on the upper floors and away from windows.
Shchetinin appealed to tourists not to go out, not to climb the breakwaters, not to try to take photos against the backdrop of heavy waves, not to approach the fences and not to park cars on the hills.
Additionally, the rescuer recommended that travelers stock up on food, water, candles or electric generators, strengthen doors and windows, turn off gas and electricity, and avoid standing near tall trees, metal structures and billboards.
