A neighbor broke into a woman’s vacant apartment, washed her underwear and was arrested 13:15

A local publication states that a man in Japan was arrested after breaking into a woman’s home and washing her underwear. Sora News.

According to media reports, a 28-year-old woman from Shizuoka Prefecture left her home to go to work in the morning but forgot to close the door. A man took advantage of this situation and entered his house. However, the attacker did not steal, instead he washed the Japanese woman’s underwear.

The woman admitted that if it weren’t for the washed laundry hanging above the dryer, she would probably never have known about the presence of a stranger in her home. After that, the Japanese woman contacted the police, but the officer did not need to look for the suspect – he himself arrived at the police station a few hours later.

It turned out that the person who did the laundry was the 50-year-old neighbor of the Japanese woman. He admitted that he did this deliberately but could not explain the reason for his action. The Japanese were arrested and charged with illegal entry into foreign territory.
