The press service of the Ministry of Defense referred to the words of the head of the department, Mariusz Blaszczak, who announced that the tank battalion would become part of the 1st Legion Infantry Division of the Podlaskie Division. Its mission is to deter the attacker.
It is stated that the tank battalion is armed with South Korean-made K2 tanks.
