Leonid Slutsky, leader of the LDPR group in the State Duma, proposed free travel to resorts for children of large families. This was reported by TASS.
The bill proposes to compensate for revenue losses that occur as a result of the designated benefit using funds from the federal budget. The aid will be available for children from families with three or more children.
“In order for families with many children to have more opportunities for joint recreation, we offer children under 17 years of age free transportation on the territory of Russia,” the draft states.
Slutsky also points out that holiday costs in Russia have increased by 35 percent recently, and 51 percent of Russian citizens stay at home during their holidays.
