In his briefing with journalists, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov did not provide additional details about the head of state’s visit to the headquarters of the Southern Military District (SMD) in Rostov-on-Don.
“Of course, I cannot do this, for reasons that are clear to you,” the Kremlin representative answered the relevant question.
He did not say whether adjustments to the targets were discussed or whether an evaluation was made about the progress of the Russian Federation’s special military operation in Ukraine.
“This is the prerogative of the Ministry of Defence. <...> This is an issue that directly concerns us. <...> military aspects,” Peskov explained.
10 November Putin visit Headquarters of the Southern Military District in Rostov-on-Don. There he was briefed on the progress of a special military operation and shown a Chinese Desertcross 1000-3 car. The Russian Armed Forces will purchase 1,590 units of these vehicles (537 have already been purchased) with a price of 1.58 million rubles in the basic configuration. This is at least the Commander-in-Chief’s fourth visit to the headquarters of the Southern Military District.
