A Russian woman found a man on a dating app. According to his lover, he is a foreigner, but he has been living in Moscow for two years. The new acquaintance refused to make a video call.
After a while, the man said that he had made money using cryptocurrency and suggested that the 40-year-old woman earn passive income in the same way. As a result, the Russian woman received a loan in the amount of 1.8 million rubles and registered on the proposed portal.
After the woman allegedly earned money on the platform, she could not withdraw the money due to the “tax” she paid. Thereupon, a new acquaintance stated that his account was frozen and all correspondence was deleted.
The woman appealed to the police. They are currently looking for the fraudster.
Formerly a former official in the Tyumen region gave it 19.8 million rubles to fraudsters.
