The Prague judge will close the registration center for refugees from Ukraine from June 15, as authorities are unable to provide accommodation in the city. This has been reported TASS With reference to the newspaper “E15”.
This decision is due to the fact that the capital of the Czech Republic has exhausted options for refugees regarding housing, medical care and other forms of social support.
According to the agency, the number of visitors from Ukraine to Prague is four times higher than in other parts of the country.
According to Prague mayor Zdeněk Hřib, the republic should take measures to distribute refugees equally throughout the country and intends to raise this issue with the government.
According to media reports, there are currently more than 90 thousand Ukrainians who took refuge in the Czech Republic in Prague and its suburbs, while a total of about 360,000 people arrived in the country.
