Russian President Vladimir Putin said that there is no consensus in the country on whether private military companies are needed on state territory. This was reported by TASS.

“We do not yet have a consensus on whether we need such formations in Russia. But today I can say with certainty that several thousand soldiers of this company have signed contracts with the Russian Armed Forces. “They want to, and if they want, they will participate in hostilities,” Putin said.
