We have mastered the situation of massive looting of public finances; this was the first move and the state of all others. We have managed to change Poland to a large extent for the better – said the PiS president at a meeting with the residents of Kazimierz Wielka (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship).
On Thursday, the PiS president emphasized in Kazimierz Wielka that the first years of PiS rule were difficult, but they brought very good economic growth and peace to the country, and that 2006 was the most peaceful year in Poland after 1989. He added that the first PiS rule led to the highest wage increases in healthcare.
Those were really important things back then
– he pointed.

He added that after two years of PiS rule, the opposition managed to “tell the nation that something terrible is happening”.
They have managed to convince us that there is a dictatorship in Poland; there is a dictatorship and at the same time there are free elections, there is an opposition, there is a dictatorship and actually all the media are against the government; In most local governments there is a dictatorship and opposition reigns supreme. Someone who believed this must have had some thinking problems, but many people did too
– Kaczyński noted.
He emphasized that the past eight years of government had been difficult.
Two major crises, including a war – few people expected that – and a huge, completely unexpected epidemic, and yet the country progressed much faster than during the eight years of their rule, but above all, Poland became a much fairer country.
– he assessed.
The PiS leader pointed out that at the same time the system created by PiS had become much more effective, “and therefore the government was able to take major actions in the social field, symbolized by 500plus.”
We got through the Covid crisis without any increase in unemployment. Unemployment has fallen dramatically in recent years. We have succeeded in setting up a major armaments program. They used to say you had to save, there was no money. We have shown that there is money, but it does not go to the pockets that need to be filled; the pockets of people raising children, retirees and many low-earning workers need to be subsidized. There should be more justice. And we succeeded. We have mastered the situation of massive theft of public finances. This was the first move, the prerequisite for all others. We have managed to change Poland for the better to a large extent
– emphasized the PiS president.
