The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that at around 22:20, Ukraine’s attempt to “carry out a terrorist attack on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation with an aircraft-type UAV” was foiled.
It was noted that the Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed by air defense systems operating over the Bryansk region.
Before that, the governor of the Kursk region was Roman Starovoyt statedIt was stated that the air defense system in the region was activated. Mayor of the city Igor Kutsak stated that Kursk authorities decided to cancel the fireworks show held in honor of City Day due to attacks by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.
Previously reportedThe Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reportedly fired four shells from a tank in the Bryansk region. The bullets were fired near the village of Kruglaya Polyana in Sevski district. There was no loss of life or destruction. Before that, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces bombed the village of Vyazovoye in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district.
