Gunshots can be heard from the streets of Stepanakert city of Nagorno-Karabakh. Video released telegram channel “Armenian revenge”.
Presumably these are the sounds of machine gun fire.
“There are reports of an armed attack in the city of Stepanakert. “Most likely, Azerbaijan is trying to put additional pressure on the Artsakh side participating in the negotiations in Yevlakh,” the channel writes.
Stepanakert is located in the internationally recognized territory of Azerbaijan, which is actually controlled by the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR). All legislative, executive and judicial authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic are located in the city.
Previously in Yevlakh started Meeting of representatives of the Armenian people of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijani officials. During the negotiations, the parties plan to discuss the reintegration of the region.
Formerly Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in the name Armenia and Azerbaijan are returning to a diplomatic solution on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
