A group of anarchist activists has seized a villa on Lake Attersee in Austria, allegedly belonging to VEB.RF chief Igor Shuvalov. The newspaper reports Salzburger Nachrichten.
According to the publication, the building was taken over by some 40 people who call themselves members of the “union of free anarchist organisations.” One of the members of the organization stated that they did not cover themselves in the building and that they would resist the police.
Banners expressing solidarity with “all refugees and fugitives” hang from the windows of the building.
Police in French Nice in mid-May placed Four Ukrainian citizens who illegally entered a Russian villa were detained. According to the channel, the detainees claimed that they knew the owner of the villa and settled there because of the conflict in Ukraine. They even changed the locks of the house.
At the end of April, the French government, as part of the implementation of sanctions measures against Russia arrested Three mansions located in the south of the country, allegedly belonging to entrepreneurs from Russia. Four yachts, six helicopters and about 30 luxury properties have been reportedly arrested in France since the start of the anti-Russia sanctions campaign.
