From May 23, one hryvnia will be equal to two rubles when determining prices for goods and services in the LPR

The government of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) fixed the exchange rate of the Russian currency to the Ukrainian currency, while setting prices for goods and services, where one hryvnia equals two rubles. Decree of the LPR Cabinet on this press service published On the website of the Government of the Republic.

“When setting prices for goods and services, the rate of 2.0 Russian rubles for one Ukrainian hryvnia is applied,” the document says.

It is noted that when determining the price in hryvnia, the amount is rounded to whole units.

According to the decision, by May 24, 2022, banks “must carry out non-cash conversion of cash hryvnia accepted from enterprises into income at the rate of 2.5 rubles per Ukrainian hryvnia.”

The decision comes into effect on May 23.

Now, when determining the price of goods and services, the exchange rate is set at 2.5 rubles per 1 hryvnia.
