UK to host first global AI security summit 05:11

It has been noted that in recent weeks, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has discussed the issue of artificial intelligence security with a number of businessmen and world leaders. Thus, at the meeting held in Hiroshima in May, all the leaders of the G7 member states were united in their desire to develop a common approach to this problem.

In May, Sunak met with the leaders of OpenAI, DeepMind and Anthropic, three of the most advanced artificial intelligence labs, while the Minister of State for Science, Innovation and Technology held a roundtable with the heads of artificial intelligence (AI) companies.

The government emphasized that the UK ranks third in the world after the USA and China in the development of artificial intelligence. The British AI sector has a volume of 3.7 billion pounds ($4.6 billion) and employs 50,000 people.
