Mossos d’Esquadra evacuated the station this Saturday Lleida-Pyrenees Catalan police sources told Europa Press after a “false alarm” sounded by a suspicious suitcase on an empty train from Zaragoza.
Mossos received a notification from a Renfe security agent around 11:45 am and evacuated them. 130 people those at the station
After the protocol, Mossos and City Guards cordoned off the area and Specialized Technicians in Disabling Explosive Devices (tedax) checked the suitcase.
The evacuated passengers and workers were able to return to the station at 13:00 after verification. there was no danger.
