Emergency services found the bodies of two people on Thursday. Four deaths were reported after torrential rain drove a group of hikers visiting a waterfall. in Southern Taiwan.
The incident occurred on May 20 when ten hikers were exploring an area of Flying Dragon Falls when heavy rain was recorded in the area, island agency CNA reported. Five of them were caught in the current, while the other five members of the group were rescued by helicopter on 21 May.
Local authorities mobilized 13 people to work in the rescue and found two bodies using drones on Thursday morning, the agency reported. Rescue teams continue to search for the missing person.
