A drunk man in Belgium threw a glass bottle at the motorcade of US President Joe Biden as it drove through the center of Brussels. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

The police confirmed the incident. “The drunk man actually threw a bottle from quite a distance at the motorcade accompanying the US president. We immediately arrested him,” the police said.

On March 23, US President Joe Biden arrived in Brussels, where he will meet the leaders of other NATO member states. Biden will attend an extraordinary NATO summit in Brussels, which will take place in person. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to address the participants in the meeting.

Former US intelligence officer Scott Bennett mentioned the purpose of the politician’s visit to EU countries. According to him, the American leader will try to win over European leaders during his visit to Europe. According to him, European politicians are currently rethinking relations with Washington.
