Medinsky announced the need to translate Mikhalkov’s Besogon project into foreign languages
Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Association (RVIO), assistant to the President of Russia, Vladimir Medinsky, said that the television project headed by Nikita Mikhalkov “Besogon” should be translated into foreign languages. Medinsky’s speech at the second meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Historical Education on Thursday, March 24, TASS reports.
“I would like to focus separately on the selfless work you do at the expense of your creativity with your Besogon project. It has now really taken on an incredible sound and I am very happy that an idea has appeared that has apparently not yet been implemented to the end – to translate Besogon into foreign languages ”, said the chairman of the RVIO, addressed to Mikhalkov , who attended the event. Medinsky suggested distributing “Besogon” on all social networks.
In his speech, he also noted that in many countries of the world they have “destroyed RT” and “closed all channels to bring the truth to the world”. “That’s why your releases, translated into as many languages as possible, have to be everywhere, everywhere and everywhere,” Medinsky summed up.
Earlier in March 2022, a court in Ukraine arrested Nikita Mikhalkov in absentia. He was suspected of infringing on the territorial integrity of the country. Ukraine’s Attorney General Irina Venediktova said the director could be detained if “the border of almost any civilized state is crossed”.
