Since February 2022, the share of furnished apartments in Moscow has fallen to 2 percent
In the Moscow real estate market, apartments with decoration and furniture were missing – in the month since February 2022, their number has decreased by almost eight percent. That reports “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” with reference to the data of the company “Inkom-Nedvizhimost”.
According to experts, about ten percent of apartments with furniture were for sale in February, but that number fell to two percent during the month. Before that, the share grew – from two percent in 2019 to five to seven percent in the following years.
The changes affected expensive objects. According to the assumptions, the number of offers with finishing can be reduced to 30-40 percent. Possible indicators were explained by the situation on the materials market. “Builders are gradually moving towards product simplification, not understanding how the situation with material costs and the cost of furniture will continue,” concluded KORTROS-Moscow.
Earlier, Kirill Aksenov, a member of the Council of Experts on Construction, Building Materials Industry and Problems of Shared Construction under the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Public Utilities, spoke about ways to reduce repair costs. Especially the Russians were advised to conclude an agreement with a contractor and prescribe the necessary work.
