Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk appealed to Russian Human Rights Ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova and Children’s Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova with a request to hand over the orphan lists in the new regions of the Russian Federation. “I propose to immediately transfer the lists of all orphans to the Ukrainian side,” he said.
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister also asked for lists of children without parental care.
Vereshchuk explained that the request concerns children who are citizens of Ukraine as of February 24, 2022, who are not older than 18 years and are currently in Russia.
