For the first time during the bird flu season (autumn to spring), Japanese authorities killed more than 15 million chickens due to bird flu outbreaks. It has been reported TASS.

This season, about 60 bird flu outbreaks have been detected in more than 20 prefectures in Japan.

The previous record was from November 2020 to March 2021, when around 10 million chickens were killed due to 52 outbreaks.
