In December, the 32-year-old woman met the Doula community, who teaches yoga late in her pregnancy. The staff told her that it was possible to give birth at home without the help of medication. This option attracted a woman, as she had a negative experience from the first birth, which took place in the hospital. She decided to give birth at home and hire a community doula to help.
On her birthday, yoga instructor Maria Velma came to the house of a local resident. However, the woman had complications and as a result, the child choked to death while passing through the birth canal. The doula then fled in an unknown direction.
The mother could be charged with murder.
