Two people mobilized in Ulyanovsk were found guilty of using violence against the commanders. This was reported in the Investigative Committee of Russia, reports TASS.
In October 2022, Private Malyasov and Corporal Fedorov were recruited into the Russian Armed Forces as part of partial mobilization.
As the investigation and the court found, Malyasov committed violence against an officer on duty at the location of the military unit. Another day, Fedorov struck the commander in response to a statement addressed to him.
The Investigative Committee noted that the evidence collected by the military investigation department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Ulyanovsk garrison was considered by the court sufficient for a decision. Soldiers were found guilty of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 334 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violent acts against the chief committed during the mobilization period).
Criminal cases against the soldiers were considered in mobile hearings held at the location of the military unit in the presence of the defendants’ colleagues.
The RF Investigative Committee emphasized that the court sentenced Malyasov to 6 years in prison, and Fedorov – 5.5 years, they will serve their sentences in a strict regime correctional colony.
