Ukrainian portal Klimenko Time reports explosions in the Kharkiv region.
The explosions were heard on Thursday afternoon, January 5, according to the broadcast. An air raid alert was issued for 30 minutes in the area.
No information was given about the destruction and loss of life.
Earlier, it was reported that air alert was issued in five regions of Ukraine, including Kharkiv. The signal was also heard in the Poltava, Chernihiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Sumy regions.
January 4 air raid warning announced countrywide. In the morning, the siren sounded in all five regions of the country – in the Cherkasy and Poltava regions, in the Dnepropetrovsk and Kirovograd regions, and in the Kharkiv region.
The Russian armed forces have been bombing energy and military facilities in Ukraine since October 10. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the missile attacks were a response to the attack on the Crimean bridge. In 2022, the air raid alarm in Ukraine sounded 14,870 times.
