Andalusia is also the community where the highest percentage of the quantity demanded was returned with 96.38% before the end of last year, in this case leading Asturias (96.25%), Extremadura (95.70%), Cantabria (95.66%) and La Rioja (95.63%).
The countries to which the lowest percentage of the requested amount was returned are Navarra (69.34%), the Basque Country (77.32%), Catalonia (93.38), the Balearic Islands (94.11%) and Madrid (94%, 18).
Madrid recorded the highest average refund amount at 809.20 euros, followed by Catalonia (790.00), Asturias (774.06%), Cantabria (755.68) and the Balearic Islands (723.96), five of the average (714 59 euros).
By December 30 last year, the Tax Office had returned 9,672m euros across Spain; this is 94.9% of what was requested in the 2021 revenue campaign..
In the 2021 revenue campaign, 22.1 million returns were submitted with refund requests, most of them -13.9 million, 2.15% less, 1.9% more than the previous year.
