Polish Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak said that the republic signed an agreement with France for the supply of two observation satellites and a receiving station. It has been reported DEA News.
The publication states that the signing of the document took place during the visit of the head of the French Ministry of Defense, Sebastian Lecornu, to Warsaw.
According to Blaszczak, the cooperation concerns the purchase of two satellites for the Polish Army, which the republic will receive by 2027.
The deal includes the purchase of a ground station where the received images will be processed.
He added that the Polish satellites ordered from France will work together with the French satellites, which he says provide “even greater efficiency”.
