In the story adaptation True Stalker for “Call of Pripyat” players can fine-tune their weapons with a wide range of customizations. However, locating these options isn’t immediate. This guide explains where to find and how to buy modules for guns within the game.

How to install sights, silencers and other attachments on guns

To install body kits, players must first upgrade the weapon. A technician in the village handles this upgrade, but for deeper adjustments, tools are required for coarse work, fine tuning, and calibration. Details on where to locate these tools are provided in a separate guide.

If certain modifications are already installed on a weapon, it becomes possible to attach sights, silencers, grenade launchers, and other modules. For instance, during the story mission “Lair of Mutants” players receive an AKS-74U that comes with a scope rail pre-mounted. The next step is simply to locate and unlock the landmark itself.

How to find the first sight in True Stalker

Obtaining the initial sight involves completing the straightforward “Best Offer” quest. Players travel to the village, spend 1000 rubles on a can of gasoline, and deliver it to the stalker at the crossing to the dump.

Where can you buy sights, silencers and other modules

In the early game, players will progress largely without modules. It’s best to complete all main story missions before heading to the Dump. Once there, proceed to the depot and visit the second floor where a smuggler named Vitka Stepak can be found.

At this stage, the inventory is limited to basic ammunition and grenades. To broaden the selection, a single order for weapons or armor is enough. After the order is fulfilled, return to the merchant to purchase the modules of interest.

There may be additional paths to acquiring weapon modules in the game. The guide will be updated as new methods are discovered.
