Activision offered more insight into the update that will bring Terminator-themed content to Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone. Two paid bundles are on the horizon for the in-game store, each containing ten items that fans can look forward to adding to their arsenals and personalization options.
The first bundle centers on the iconic T-800 model, the metal endoskeleton made famous by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Beyond the distinctive skin, players gain a finishing move that completes high-intensity takedowns, an MVP animation that emphasizes the character’s stoic presence, weapon blueprints to customize their loadouts, an amulet for a touch of mythic flair, a unique emblem to showcase allegiance, and a reticle that helps aim with a Terminator aesthetic.
The second bundle spotlights the T-1000, the liquid metal antagonist portrayed by Robert Patrick in the sequel. Buyers of this pack will also receive a finishing move and MVP animation, several weapon blueprints to diversify weapon customization, a distinctive clock to signal time-based flair, a decal for weapon bodies or equipment, and a business card-style item that adds a playful nod to the character’s cunning and menace.
Earlier, the publisher Nacon teased a Terminator-themed survival game, expanding the universe beyond the action/shooter format. This includes the new entry Terminator Survival Project, which adds another entry point for fans to engage with the iconic clash between humans and machines. In related media, the game Stray is noted as part of the broader conversation around robotic and post-human storytelling traditions that influence players’ imaginations about artificial intelligence and autonomous actors.
