The developers behind the tank MMO action Tanks Blitz have announced a major tournament titled “Easy Skating Rink,” boasting a prize pool of 3,500,000 rubles. A trailer has been released to celebrate the event, signaling an ambitious competition that aims to showcase top skilled players and large audiences alike.
The event unfolds in four distinct phases designed to filter talent through successive rounds:
- Open Qualifiers (February 27 through March 1, March 3 through 5, March 7 through 9, and March 11 through 13).
- Closed Qualifiers (March 17 and 18).
- Play-In Tournaments (March 24 through 26).
- The main tournament, titled the Easy Skating Rink, runs from March 29 through April 7.
Open qualifiers are scheduled on February 27, March 3, March 7, and March 11. Competitors who demonstrate high proficiency can advance to the main event, testing their mettle against the strongest teams and players.
Even if a participant does not post positive results in the open qualifiers, there remains a clear path to the main event. A player can still join the main team by progressing through the closed qualifiers and the Play-In bracket, provided they participate in at least three qualifying stages. Additionally, players need to participate in at least two qualifiers with the clan they intend to represent in later rounds.
From March 29 to April 7, the primary competition, Easy Skating Rink, will take place. Rewards are allocated based on final standing, with substantial cash prizes awaiting the top finishers.
- 1st place – 1.8 million rubles;
- 2nd place – 1 million rubles;
- 3rd place – 500 thousand rubles;
- 4th place – 200 thousand rubles.
Beyond the prize money, winners across skill levels receive in-game bonuses such as credits, free experience, premium currency, and camouflage certificates. This adds practical value to the competition, enhancing progression and customization in Tanks Blitz.
It is notable that fans watching streams can also win prizes, expanding participation beyond active competitors. Comprehensive details about schedules, rules, and rewards are posted on the official event page, while a Windows client has drawn attention online for introducing a variety of additional features and bonuses.
