Sony’s State of Play event ran overnight from February 12 to February 13, unveiling new games, trailers, and release windows for a slate of highly anticipated projects. The following highlights are gathered here for North American audiences.

Mindseye

Mindseye is a new title led by Leslie Benzies, a central figure in the GTA series. The two minute gameplay trailer shown hints at a hybrid feel inspired by Cyberpunk 2077, Watch Dogs, and Grand Theft Auto V, with fast gunplay and high speed car action. Drones and humanoid robots appear in the footage, adding a futuristic flavor. The game is slated for a summer release this year, according to VG Times.

Saros

Housemarque, best known for Returnal, revealed a new roguelike exclusive for the PlayStation 5. The action unfolds on the planet Karkos, where a perpetual solar eclipse threatens the world. Death reshapes the landscape, blending gloomy atmosphere with energetic combat. Saros is planned for release on Sony consoles in 2026, according to VG Times.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword

The new Onimusha is presented as a worthy heir to the classic series, drawing comparisons to modern titles like Devil May Cry 5 and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The protagonist Miyamoto Musashi wields a katana and mystical abilities, and uses the environment to gain an edge. Fights are deliberate and thoughtful rather than breakneck, requiring careful planning to avoid mistakes. The game is slated for 2026 in this report.

Hell is us

A futuristic Souls-like set in an isolated country wracked by civil war and a mysterious anomaly. Enemies from another world are exceptionally dangerous, making standard firearms useless. Players will need to crawl, use melee tools, and rely on a drone companion that keeps vigil. The map uses a nontraditional navigation approach, while tech aids the journey. The release is scheduled for September 4, 2025.

P: Overture lies

Lies of P was once described as Bloodborne for PC and fans joked about it. The setting returns to Victorian England with retrofuturistic touches, and Overture is a prequel to the main story. Players visit the city for a brief moment during the late Golden Age, while dark secrets hide behind the street facades. New plot details and challenging bosses are anticipated. Release is planned for summer 2025.

Bonus: Stellar Blade, the most visually beautiful condition of playing play

Stellar Blade hits PC in June this year. A crossover with Goddess of Victory: Nikke was announced, linking the developers Shift Up’s other work with the game. The PC release is primarily motivated by the chance for mods, including options to replace or remove the main character’s clothing.
