Developers of Saints Row 4 have revealed that owners of the original PC version will receive a free upgrade to Re-Elected on December 8, bringing enhanced content and smoother performance to the game they already own.
The latest release updates Saints Row 4 with a bundled DLC pack that introduces fresh missions, stylish outfits, and a wider array of weapons. Crossplay will be enabled on PC, connecting players on GOG and Epic Games Store platforms. In the coming weeks, the game will also debut on Linux, accompanied by bonuses tied to ongoing updates. Some forms of the original project and its DLC will be phased out from sale, yet every achievement earned in the older version will carry over to Re-Elected. In short, the core experience remains consistent—only the packaging and accessibility evolve.
If players do not own the base game, Saints Row 4: Re-Elected will be available for free on Epic Games Store starting December 8. Users may encounter regional restrictions for certain markets, but these can be navigated easily by adjusting store region settings or creating a new account with Poland chosen as the country, for example.
All in-game screens and artwork from Saints Row 4 can be explored within the game’s collection and gallery.
