How to solve a riddle with yellow symbols
In the first puzzle the player must reveal the correct sequence to unlock the door. A similar riddle appears earlier in the Leon campaign. To proceed, yellow symbols must be found around the area and activated in a specific order:
- Top center;
- Bottom right;
- Center left.
How to solve the lithographic plate puzzle
A comparable riddle shows up in the main campaign for Leon, with a slight variation in this expansion. It would be odd to add many identical puzzles, so here is a clear solution:
- Turn the umbrella board on the right to create a fan and place it in the upper part;
- Place the parasol board on the right side;
- Move the plate downward on the right;
- Install the remaining plate where the first one sits on the left.
How to solve the shield puzzle in the castle
Later in the journey a castle room reveals several shields on a wall. A hint points to an opposite wall where the shields must be shot in a specific sequence. The correct order is:
- Bottom left side;
- Top right;
- Bottom right.
Opening the cabinet drawer yields the red ink item.
How to solve the bubble puzzle
In a room with a large gate, interact with the first bell on the left. It can be pressed manually or shot, either works.
When the gate opens, shoot the snake targets on both sides. Then locate three bubbles with birds, one of which sits behind bars.
This grants the red lantern, but spikes appear on the walls soon after and block the corridor. On the left a bird bell can be found and shot, activating two targets behind the bars as well.
Repeat the sequence with the seahorses; one target hides behind bars on the left.
All that remains is to shoot the bells showing snakes to escape the passage. Ada’s grappling hook helps with this step.
How to solve a riddle with a scanner – code for the lock
Later in the story a room filled with an entomological collection requires following tracks via a scanner to reveal the right combination for a locked cabinet. Opening it rewards the blue butterfly item. The sequence is:
- creature;
- Pry;
- Lizard.
