The Sniffer, described as an ancient, friendly mob, features four legs and a green growth on its back that yields eggs for reproduction. It has a fondness for plants and can actively search for seeds. The exact release date for the Sniffer update remains to be confirmed.
Earlier previews revealed the team’s efforts to elevate Minecraft’s visuals, spanning a creative period of more than a decade. They also showcased a post-apocalyptic city built within the sandbox environment.
