Marvel Snap: Studio Second Dinner Announces Free-To-Play TCG with Simultaneous Turns

Studio Second Dinner, a studio founded by developers who previously worked on Hearthstone, has announced a free-to-play Marvel Snap trading card game. In Marvel Snap, players craft decks and challenge others in head-to-head matches featuring heroes from the Marvel Universe.

In Marvel Snap, both players take their turns simultaneously, eliminating the usual waiting period for the opponent. The creators say a typical match lasts roughly three minutes, keeping gameplay fast and engaging for mobile users and PC players alike.

The game is planned to launch with around 150 unique cards. After release, updates will introduce new cards, maps, and additional content to expand strategy and keep the meta fresh for players across platforms.

The project is being developed for PC and mobile devices, including Android and iOS. A specific release date has not been announced, but a pre-release testing phase will occur before the public rollout to gather feedback and balance the experience.

Earlier announcements mentioned a free mobile Warcraft title featuring a story campaign, cooperative play, and player-versus-player modes. There were also leaks suggesting new mobile entries in the Need for Speed franchise. These items illustrate a broader focus on cross-platform, community-driven game experiences from the studio.
