Warhorse Studios has outlined a long-term roadmap for post-launch support of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, promising at least twelve months of updates and improvements after release.
Post-release content:
- Spring: Free updates with hairdressing options, enhanced horse racing dynamics, and hardcore modes; these additions deepen character customization, expand mounted gameplay, and raise the challenge for seasoned players.
- Summer: a story expansion titled “Brushes with Death,” centering on a enigmatic artist whose past shrouds a network of secrets and intrigues within the realm.
- Autumn: the narrative extension “Legacy of the Forge,” in which the main character must rebuild Kuttenberg’s forge to restore a lost legacy and rekindle the town’s resilience.
- Winter: the story expansion “Church Mystery” (Mysteria Ecclesiae), revealing a disease plaguing an old monastery and the mysteries surrounding it.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is slated to launch on February 4 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with the PC version available on Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store.
In recent updates, a designer behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 answered key questions about the role-playing experience, and earlier builds underwent testing across a range of graphics cards to ensure broad compatibility.
