The accompanying guide explains when such disclosures are advisable and what consequences Henry might encounter.

Gaida on Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

How to handle the interrogation mission titled “Necessary Evil”

When Otto learns that Semin Jr. left the wedding early, suspicions arise. If the player wishes to shield Oldzhrich’s involvement in the Bergov bandits, the conviction must be endured; failure sends Henry to Semin to take part in the assault.

To uncover vital information, the interrogation in the eighth mission titled “Necessary Evil” must be completed successfully. If the player fails and dies as a bandit, the game continues, but there will be nothing to report to Otto.

The correct lines during interrogation:

  • We were the first to ask.
  • Give a slap in the face.
  • Inspect the sign.
  • Where are your gang hiding?
  • Hit; or, do you want to hit. The second option is available if intimidation skills have reached fourteen points.
  • I think it could be. This line will appear if the previous dialogue did not yield the desired result.
  • Take a hammer.
  • Why did you attack us?
  • Say, say take the tools.
  • Only in vain we spend time on you.

If everything is done correctly, the prisoner admits that Semin cooperates with the bandits, a key piece of information the player can use later.

Your Eloquence skill will rise with successful interrogation. Mistakes and excessive cruelty will cause Jan Ptacek to treat the player worse.

How to earn the Silence – Gold trophy

Dialogues with Ptachek and Otto von Bergov follow. To earn the Silence – Gold trophy, the player must choose the following lines:

  • Let’s remain silent about Semin.
  • Robbers in Nesov.
  • Nobody helped these robbers.

As a result, Bergov learns nothing about Semin’s involvement and the player earns the rare achievement Silence – Gold, according to VG Times.

How to reach a secret bad ending

This path ends the game early. It is wise to save a backup before attempting.

After a period of tolerant dialogue, the conversation with Ptachek and Otto must unfold differently. The correct lines in the dialog windows are:

  • Let’s hand over Semin.
  • Young Semin with robbers at the same time!

The raid on Semin begins. In the city, a conversation unfolds between the player, Jan and Gashek. The player should choose the following options:

  • We will solve the case with the world.
  • You can’t do this.
  • You’re going too far.
  • I plan to stop.

Choosing these options supports Semin and opposes Bergov. The player will have to defeat Bergov’s soldier.

Next the plan is to protect Semin from the gas fence. The correct lines are:

  • What exactly did our people do to you?
  • I’ll let you go.
  • And if I resist.

Then a duel at the gas fence takes place and the attack of Semin’s people is repelled.

The next day the player reports to Otto. The report can be phrased in various ways, but the final outcome matters most:

  • We killed the ruler.

As a result, Bergov orders the protagonist to hang. The ending is very bad. Other endings and key plot choices are covered in a separate guide.
