A modder known as Mr Bubsy J Wubbus released a modification for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt aimed at refining Geralt of Rivia’s appearance. Screenshots showcasing the enhanced look were published to illustrate the final effect.
The creator notes that the mod replaces the character model and textures for Geralt, and that it is not compatible with other mods that alter the same assets.
The mod comes in several variants, allowing players to enable specific changes one by one. For instance, a user can opt to modify only the eyebrows, leaving other aspects untouched.
According to the producer, once installed, Geralt appears slightly younger than in the vanilla game.
Below is a comparison against the original appearance of the hero.
The modification is downloadable and has already seen a substantial number of downloads, indicating notable interest within the community.
In related news, a prior modder altered Ciri’s look in The Witcher 3 to counter a common complaint about her appearance. Separately, around the same time, developers of a different franchise shared concept art featuring a bayun, a mutated furry creature from a dangerous zone, to celebrate a themed event.
